Day 1: Fez- Ifrane – Azrou – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our 5-day tour of Fez, Merzouga, and Marrakech will begin with a pick-up from your hotel and a drive from Fez to Ifrane, Morocco’s Little Switzerland, with a stop to explore this fascinating city.

The endangered Barbary Apes, which are actually monkeys, live in this beautifully landscaped cedar forest.

As soon as you arrive. This will be an excellent opportunity to photograph Morocco’s timberland, the cedre trees, and wild monkeys in the Azrou Cedar Forests. Your lunch will be in a traditional restaurant in Midelt, the city of apples and minerals.

We continue our tour to Ziz Valley, where we will make a photo stop in a panoramic view of Ziz Valley.

Then you’ll go to Erfoud to see the old date market and the fossil workers.

Merzouga: You will be checked into your hotel for your accommodation(s) and dinner when you arrive in Merzouga.

Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, you’ll go on a tour of Erg Chebbi.

Kamila is a small village in the desert near Erg Chebbi’s largest dunes, where you can visit a Berber home and listen to Gnawa music, which originated in West Africa.

After that, you’ll travel to Rissani, a small oasis town located near the Sahara’s northwest side. Tafilalet’s capital is also here.

Rissani is known for its souk or market. You will go to the popular Rissani Market, which sells jewelry, souvenirs, gifts, spices, paintings, and crafts.

Your lunch in Rissani will be a typical Moroccan pizza known as “Medfouna.” After that, return to Merzouga and prepare for your trip to Erg Chebbi, where you can take a camel ride back to the desert camp for a second night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todgha Gorges – Dades

We are continuing our 5-day tour of Fez, Merzouga, and Marrakech. We will break camp in the morning after a sunrise breakfast and ride our camels out of the desert and back to our starting point.

After that, you’ll return to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. Before beginning your journey back to Ouarzazate, collect your luggage.

We will visit the irrigation canal in Jorf, then continue our journey to the Todgha Gorges, where we will pause to see the highest gorges in Morocco.

Then we’ll travel through the Valley of Roses to a women’s cooperative where you can find a variety of rose items and bio.

Dades Valley: You will be staying in a hotel in Dades Valley for your accommodations and dinner.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Rose Valley – Rose Valley- Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to take a walk through the Berber village of Boumaln Dades, where you will be able to see how the Berber people live. Then we take the path to Rose Valley, where we can see the breathtaking landscapes.

We’ll go to a women’s cooperative where you can find all kinds of rose goods as well as bio.

We continue our tour to Skoura, where you will see the Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s most famous living museums, which was constructed in the 17th century.

It has stood the test of time, making it the perfect environment for learning about Kasbah life’s ancient traditions.

When you arrive in the afternoon in Ouarzazate,

Day 5: Ouarzazete-Aït Benhaddou-Atlas Mountains-Marrakech

After your morning breakfast, we will visit Kasbah Taourirte and the Atlas & CLA Studios, which have produced many films and are known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” such as Lawrence of Arabia and Sahara…

Then we drive to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou via Tizi Ntichka pass, which is at an elevation of 2260 meters.

Pay a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah is a magnificent fortified town. After we finish our journey, we will stop in Taddart for lunch in a panoramic restaurant in a Berber village.

You will resume your journey to Marrakech after you have finished your lunch.
