Day 1 : Fez – Ifrane – Cidar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

Following breakfast, our 3-day Fes Marrakesh desert tour will take us through the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the small charming town of Ifran, also known as “the Swiss town” due to its resemblance to a Swiss alpine resort. We will then fly to the Cedar Forest, North Africa’s largest and home to barbary monkies, where we will have the opportunity to feed and photograph them. After that, we drive through the lovely countryside, admiring the Berber villages and seeing the nomadic shepherds with their flocks spread out over the terrains. Stop for lunch in Midelt in the middle of the journey. Continuing south and passing through the Atlas Mountains and Ziz Gorges, we will arrive at the Ziz Valley’s spectacular secret oases, where we will pause for a panoramic view. We’ll pass through Erfoud on our way to the Sahara Desert, where your camels will be waiting to take you on a trip through the golden sand dunes. Along the way, your camel guide will stop for you to see one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see. The workers will serenade you with drums around a pit and under a starry sky after dinner.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Arfoud – Todra valley – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

You will be able to see the most beautiful sunrise of your life if you get up early. After breakfast, you’ll return to Merzouga on a quiet camel trek. We depart for Rissani, once a big stopover for saharan caravans; if our arrival coincides with the day markets, which take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, we will have the opportunity to visit the region’s largest souk. Then we went to Erfoud, which is a fossil city. Then it’s off to the spectacular Todra Valley for lunch, followed by a 15-kilometer drive through the valley to the impressive Todra gorges, with free time to walk around and enjoy the cliffs and corridors. Later, we’ll travel through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see beautiful sandcastles and incredible rock formations known as “monkey toes” by locals. Spend the second night of your 3-day Fez Marrakech desert tour in a hotel/riad with a view of the valley.

Day 3 : Dades Valley – Rose Town – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakech

We’ll depart Dades Valley today for El Kalaa M’gouna (rose valley). Drive along the road of thousands of kasbahs, where you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take some of the best photos of your journey. We’ll make a pit stop in rose city, where farmers harvest approximately 400 tonnes of rose petals each year. Every May, a festival is held here. We’ll continue to Ouarzazat, Africa’s “Hollywood,” home to the country’s largest film studios. Eventually, We travel to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where several foreign films have been shot (Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, etc.). Your journey will continue through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains, where we will admire the exclusive Berber villages, before concluding your 3-day Fez Marrakech desert tour at your hotel/riad in Marrakech.
