1 day: Marrakech— t-ichka—Ait Ben haddou—Zagora.
Your private tour with Great Morocco Tours Company will begin in Marrakech and end in Zagora, passing through the high Atlas Mountains’ Tizin’tichka pass, which is 2260 meters above sea level. We’ll arrive at Morocco’s largest and most popular Kasbah, Ait ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site where numerous movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator, and Oblix were filmed.
We will continue our adventure along with the magnificent beauty of the anti-high Atlas Mountains after visiting the Kasbah and having lunch, where we suggest some photo stops. We will arrive at our destination – the Zagora Desert – where your camels will be waiting for you to begin your camel ride, which will take approximately two hours to reach the nomadic tents where you will see the sunset and spend the night under the stars of the Sahara desert while the local Berbers entertain us with their drums.
2 day: Zagora –Draa valley—Ouarzazat –Marrakech.
We will begin our journey early in the morning, enjoying the sunrise as we ride the camels back to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. We’ll drive back to the Draa valley, where we’ll pause to admire the beautiful scenery and take photos of the breathtaking oasis valley Draa, Morocco’s largest river, which served as a major trading hub for Jewish, Arab, Berber, and Christian civilizations and is now one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations.
Following that, we’ll travel to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s Hollywood zone, which boasts ancient Kasbahs and a rich Berber cultural heritage. We’ll almost certainly have some free time there for lunch and a visit to the world’s largest atlas film studio, which is one of the most appealing locations for filmmakers, and as a result, the studio offers guided tours and has become a popular tourist destination. We will also visit the popular Kasbah of Taourirt, and then drive back to Marrakech in the afternoon, passing through the high Atlas Mountains. Your tour will end in Marrakech at about 18h00.
