1st day : Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midlet – Arfoud – Merzouga

After that, we met at the location that we had decided on. We will begin our tour in the southeast, passing through the Midele Atlas through Ifrane, Morocco’s “Switzerland,” and then on to Azrou, where we will visit the popular cedar forest, Morocco’s largest, to see and play with Barbary apes. From here, we head south, passing through many towns and giving you the opportunity to see nomads living in tents. After lunch in Midelt, your journey continues along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We’ll travel to Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, Morocco’s new ruling royal family, through welcoming Berber villages. When you arrive in Merzouga late at night, you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea before checking into your riad. We go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes after relaxing for a few minutes in Merzouga. We will spend the night in the middle of the Sahara in a fitted camp with drums music, then travel to the high dunes to see the sunset and spend the night in Berber tents.

2nd day : Merzouga – Erfoud- Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Fes.

Be sure to get up early in the morning to catch a glimpse of the sunrise from the peak of the next highest dune. After that, you’ll return to your Riad on a quiet camel ride, taking in the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light as the day progresses. After a shower and breakfast in the hotel, we’ll depart for Fez through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Rissani, Erfoud (known for its fossils), Errachidia, Medilt, and Azrou, where we’ll have lunch. After that, you’ll arrive in Fes.
